Good hotel in not safe area
Quiet and clean room. Inside the hotel it's really safe. Close to the metro station Lapa - about 5 minutes walk. But be extremely careful if walking - see below.
The neighborhood is definitely not safe. Avoid walking around when dark, be extremely careful during the day. Do not show any valuable things on the street, preferably use taxi to get there. The air conditioning was not too efficient. Staff does not speak English and our request for having breakfast earlier was not handed over when the receptionists changed.
